The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering is the largest faculty of the Cracow University of Technology. Thanks to 20 years of cooperation between the Faculty of Mechanics with CERN in Switzerland, the Cracow University of Technology has been invited to undertake broad cooperation, enabling trips to the international research center of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva for engineers of many specialties, whose task will be to help in the development of new machines used by scientists for testing elementary particles and the perfection of existing ones, including the Great Hadron Collider.
