Personal data processing policy

According to art. 13 para. 1 and par. 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (general regulation on data protection ) Cracow University of Technology informs that:

  1. the administrator of personal data is Cracow University of Technology with headquarters in Cracow at ul. Warszawska 24, 31-155 Cracow, Poland;
  2. contact with the Data Protection Officer at Cracow University of Technology is possible at the following e-mail address: iodo@pk.edu.pl and tel. +48 12 628 22 37;
  3. personal data will be processed in order to carry out and document the recruitment process for degree studies or non-degree studies (exchange programme);
  4. personal data will be processed on the basis of art. 6 par. 1 point c of the General Data Protection Regulation and on the basis of:
    • Act of 20 July 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668, as amended),
    • Act of 29 September 1994 on accounting (Journal of Laws of 2018 item 395, as amended),
    • Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 27 September 2018 on studies (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1861, as amended),
    • Order No 82 of the Rector of Cracow University of Technology of December 14, 2017 on the introduction of office and archival regulations at Cracow University of Technology;
  5. personal data will be stored for a period of 5 years from the end of recruitment, counted in full calendar years, starting from January 1 of the following year from the date of completion of recruitment;
  6. The data subject has the right to access their data and the right to rectify, delete, limit processing, the right to data transfer, the right to object and the right to file a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection in the event that data processing personal violates the provisions of the general regulation on the protection of personal data;
  7. providing personal data is required on the basis of the legal acts listed in point 4, and the data subject is obliged to provide them at the recruitment stage; failure to provide personal data prevents participation in the recruitment;
  8. data processing is necessary to fulfil the legal obligation of the administrator.
