DEADLINES FOR SUBMITTING COMPLETE APPLICATION WITH REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Other faculties and programmes: 1 May – 31 July

FREE OF CHARGE FULL TIME STUDIES IN POLISH LANGUAGE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Subject to Article 324 section 2 of the Law on Higher Education (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1668) the following persons are eligible to apply for free of charge studies in the Polish language:

  1. a citizen of a Member State of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation, or a Member State of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, and their family members residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland,
  2. a non-Polish citizen who has been granted a permanent residence permit or a long-term resident of the European Union,
  3. a non-Polish citizen who has been granted a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances reffered to in Article 159 section 1 or Article 186 section 1 clauses 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on Foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2017, items 2206 and 2282 as well as of 2018, items 107, 138 and 771),
  4. a non-Polish citizen with the status of a refugee assigned in the Republic of Poland or who enjoys temporary protection or subsdiary protection on the territory of the Republic of Poland,
  5. a non-Polish citizen – holder of a certificate certifying the knowledge of Polish as a foreign language, reffered to in Article 11a section 2 of the Act of 7 October 1999 on the Polish language (Journal of Laws of 2018 item 931), at the C1 level or higher,
  6. a holder of a valid Pole’s Card or a person who was issued a decision regarding the confirmation of their Polish origin,
  7. a non-Polish citizen who is a spouse, ancestor or descendent of a citizen of the Republic of Poland, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland,
  8. a non-Polish citizen who has been grantd a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances reffered to in Article 151 section 1 or Article 151b section 1 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners, or staying on the territory of the Republic of Poland in connection with a short-term mobility visa in order to cunduct scientific research or development works.

BANK TRANSFER DETAILS – INFORMATION ABOUT INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER FOR CANDIDATES AND STUDENTS

An individual account in EUR is authomatically generated for each candidate upon completing the online registration process. It is listed on the last page of the application form and also in canddiate’s profile in the Virtual Dean’s Office. A candidate and later on a student shall transfer the required amount of money to his/her individual account. Additionally the individual account is also listed in the agreement signed with Cracow University of Technology (CUT) in a respective Dean’s Office at the beginning of studies at CUT.

Below is Cracow University of technology’s general account in EUR if for some reasons payment cannot be made to the individual account.

The Cracow University of Technology has at its disposal about 2200 places in 4 student dormitories in Cracow. Students can book a place in CUT Hall of Residence (one or two person in a room, shared bathrooms and shared kitchen). In order to book a place please fill out section Accommodation in Application Form. Accommodation in CUT dormitory costs app. 500-700PLN per month (depending on the dormitory and room standard).

* Please note that due to a large number of students, CUT cannot guarantee accommodation.
